Our Client are World Leaders in the Marine Sector, they require X3 Design
Safety Justification Authors to support their Submarine platform.
You will be based on the client site at Barrow in Furness, Cumbria.
The details of the role are as follows:


Design Safety Justification (DSJ) Author

Development and modification of DSJ for Secondary Propulsion
 equipment and systems.
DSJ’s are a required support document for the submarine
safety case
Documents to fully reflect current design status .
Documents to fully satisfy the business' process and procedures
Liaison and communication with system/equipment responsible engineers
and Safety Engineering department within the business
Participation in HAZOP and HAZAN activities


Additional Information

Writing Technical reports.
Technical presentations


The Individual 

HND minimum, BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent preferred
Experience in production of documentation to support safety cases
Knowledge of naval nuclear plant design and operation preferable
